1. Local On-Premise Data Architecture

DykeSoft Technologies School Management System is designed on an on-premise local database paradigm. All operational school records, including student names, admission records, academic marks, financial fee receipts, staff salaries, and attendance logs, are stored exclusively within your local or school LAN PostgreSQL 16 database. DykeSoft does not upload, harvest, or synchronize your students' academic or financial records to the internet or cloud servers.

2. Cloud Licensing Telemetry

Our desktop application communicates with our web licensing servers (https://api.dykesoft.in) strictly over HTTPS for the following administrative purposes:

• Verifying license validity and subscription expiry.
• Validating device workstation hardware limits (Machine ID hash).
• Checking for authorized software updates and security patches.

3. Customer Account Information

When you register on our customer portal (https://app.dykesoft.in), we securely store your institution name, billing address, contact phone number, and official email to manage your subscriptions and provide support.

4. Security Safeguards

All online communications use TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption. Passwords and sensitive keys are securely hashed and never stored in plaintext.
